Rothsay's city park is one of the nicest in the area! This large facility includes a shelter for picnics or other gatherings, tennis court, basketball court, baseball diamond, and lots of green space for frisbee golf or other fun activities. Families will appreciate the two playground areas with slides, merry-go-round, swings, and other fun facilities for young and old alike.
For a more rustic adventure, check out Rothsay's Pioneer Prairie Park, where you will find pristine prairie, hiking trails, gently rolling hills, a meandering creek, and a picturesque footbridge. The park is a great place to unwind with a leisurely hike through some of Minnesota's most beautiful natural habitat.
Finally, tucked in the northwest corner of town is the athletics field, complete with baseball diamond, football field, and in the winter, ice skating rink and sledding hill.
