The City of Rothsay has a vacant city council seat and we would like to know if a city resident would be interested in becoming part of our community decision making team. This appointment would fill the current vacant city council seat through the end of 2026. In November 2026, this seat will be on the ballot again during the regular general election. If you are interested, complete the Rothsay City Council Appointment Questionnaire by choosing an option below to download the form. Once completed, drop it off at City Hall no later than January 27, 2025.

The City Council holds regular meetings on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm at City Hall. Starting in March of 2025, meetings will be held the first Monday of the month. If you have questions or would like to be on the agenda, please reach out to the City Clerk to get more details.
